New construction of a 2-story, 77,572 sq ft prototype elementary school for St. Mary’s County, MD. The 22 acre site included bio-retention facilities, practice fields and play areas as well as paved roads and parking. Solar panels, green roof areas, and a gray water cistern system were elements contributing to a LEED Silver rating. This project is the 11th project Scheibel Construction has completed for St. Mary’s County Public Schools
