Scheibel CM is pleased to announce that The College of Southern Maryland Health Science Building has won the 2023 Construction Management Association of America in the Education Category: Construction value less than $50 Million.  This is a national award and there were a record number of entries.  The Awards Presentation is Monday, October 30 during the CMAA 2023 at National Harbor.  Representatives from Scheibel, The College of Southern Maryland, and Grimm + Parker Architects will attend.

Scheibel CM provided preconstruction and construction services for a 50,000 square foot; 2-story higher education facility programmed for Health Science Professionals. All site development for the continued campus expansion to support the new building was included. The new high tech institute hosts health science laboratories, simulation laboratories, classrooms, meeting rooms, administrative spaces, and support areas.  This building achieved LEED Silver certification.
